About The Motse
The Motse is the main lodge at the Tswalu Kalahari Private Game Reserve. Settled in the shade of the beautiful Korannaberg mountains, the eight luxurious desert-style Suites (or 'legae'; meaning little house in the Tswana language) at The Motse overlook a waterhole in the game-filled savannah. Two of the 'little house' suites are designed for families or two couple traveling together, encompassing 1830 sq ft of private space with a large private viewing deck overlooking the waterhole.
WHAT YOU’LL SEE
The Private Tswalu Kalahari reserve is situated in a remote corner of northern South Africa. At almost 250,000 acres of private wilderness for the exclusive use of Tswalu guests, this is the largest privately-owned wilderness area in South Africa. With an immensely diverse wildlife population - 80 mammal species and 240 bird species, the open plains allow for phenomenal game drives.
