# Luxury Safari Lodges by Guided Safaris® > Guided Safaris® is a San Francisco travel company (est. 1995) that designs > private, tailormade safaris in Africa. This site presents its collection of > luxury safari lodges and lets a guest, an assistant or an AI agent check live > availability and send a reservation request. Availability and prices are > live from our reservations system. A reservation sent from this site is a > REQUEST, not a confirmed booking: lodges, permits and transfers are confirmed > by hand, and our team replies by email as soon as possible. This file explains navigation. It is not an inventory feed or a quotation: use the live reservation interface for current availability, accommodation choices, prices and package contents. Sister site, same company and same booking flow: https://www.luxurysafaricamps.com **How booking works (read this first)** - Prices are shown in US dollars. A calendar day's price is a nightly rate; the calendar's legend says what it covers, per person or up to a stated number of guests. Room cards show the price for the whole stay. The reservation summary's current USD total is the figure for the actual selection; do not multiply calendar figures yourself. - The calendar is live. Sold-out days and the from-price per day come from our reservations system. A loaded link or a loading calendar is not an availability result; wait for the room choices to finish loading. - Room availability alone does not establish availability of gorilla permits or transfers. Read the inclusions and exclusions of the selected option. - Pressing BOOK sends a reservation request with the exact price shown. It does not hold rooms, take payment or confirm anything. Our team confirms rooms, permits and transfers with the lodges and emails the guest the next steps (a contractual authorization and payment) as soon as possible, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm Pacific. - After submission, report the status the site actually returned. - Gorilla trekking permits (Rwanda, Uganda) are issued per person per day, are strictly non-refundable, and have a minimum age of 15. They are not in the room rate unless an add-on says so. - The booking terms allow a traveler to use an AI assistant to submit a request on their behalf. Review the terms with the guest and obtain their authorization for the specific submission before BOOK. The human traveler or trip sponsor remains the party giving consent. **Open the reservation interface for specified dates** Construct a URL on `https://www.luxurysafarilodges.com` from the lodge's canonical path and these query parameters: https://www.luxurysafarilodges.com/lodges/?checkin=YYYY-MM-DD&checkout=YYYY-MM-DD&adults=2&children=0&open=1 - `checkin`: arrival date, `YYYY-MM-DD`. - `checkout`: departure date, `YYYY-MM-DD`, later than arrival. The departure date is not an overnight stay. - `adults`: number of adults (18 and over), for example `2`. - `children`: number of children (0 to 17), for example `0`. Counts in a URL do not establish occupancy or age eligibility; the interface applies the lodge's rules. - `open=1`: open the reservation interface on arrival at the page. `` is the last part of the lodge URL. Opening the link does not itself submit anything. On the property page, "Select travel dates", "Book Suite", the header "Reserve" and the Reservations calendar all lead into the same flow. **The reservation wizard, step by step** 1. Select Rooms: verify arrival, departure, number of nights, the intended property, the accommodation, the guests and the room count. One card per room category shows a live price for the party; use "+ ADD A ROOM" for more rooms. Occupancy and age rules are printed under the card. NEXT. 2. Plan Trip: the invoice, plus optional Signature add-ons (permits, transfers, extra nights). Package contents can vary with stay length; confirm which permits and transfers are included and whether they need separate confirmation. NEXT. 3. Review + Finalize: verify the stay and the current total, provide the guest's authorized contact details, review the terms, then BOOK. Required: first name, last name, email, phone, billing address (the address field uses Google address suggestions, pick one). Notes are optional. Steps 2 and 3 are not in the URL; a reload returns to step 1. When reporting availability or a price, include the dates, accommodation, guests, nights, selected additions and when the information was checked. If the interface cannot establish availability or a complete price, say what remains unconfirmed and refer the guest to Guided Safaris. **For automated browsers and agents** - Pages are server-rendered and open to any user agent; no challenge on page views. `robots.txt` allows search and AI use. - If NEXT stays disabled at step 1, do not retry in a loop: hand the request to a human by phone or through the inquiry page below, with the dates, party and lodge. **Live availability without a browser (read-only)** POST https://www.luxurysafarilodges.com/api/crs/calendar Content-Type: application/json {"propertyCode":"","startDate":"YYYY-MM-DD","endDate":"YYYY-MM-DD"} `` is the property's slug, except: Duba Plains Camp `DPC`; Zarafa Camp `ZAR`; Segera Retreat `SGR`; Mara Toto Tree Camp `MTT`; Mara Nyika Camp `MNC`; Segera House `SGR`, room `cmoubmmwp00bllbg6ua5cl4la`; Mara Plains Camp `MPC`; Greenhouse at Segera `SGR`, room `cmoubmmwn00bjlbg6lq1uazi8`; Villa Segera `SGR`, room `cmoubmmwm00bhlbg6xg54i1rx`; Bisate Reserve `wilderness-bisate-reserve`; Royal Malewane `RML`; Waterside Lodge `RWS`; The Farmstead `FSD`; Masiya's Camp `MAS`. Send no `Origin` header. GET is not supported.
