Each villa at Bisate Reserve offers stunning wraparound views, designed by skilled Rwandan craftsmen to blend tradition with modern comforts. The villas feature a private viewing deck, offering a perfect space to take in the beauty of the rainforest surroundings. Bisate Reserve offers an intimate haven with four villas accommodating just eight guests.These luxurious sanctuaries feature two cozy fireplaces, outdoor hot tubs on the deck, a separate lounge for private dining, and ample space for dressing, unwinding, or indulging in a private massage. Each villa is the epitome of refined comfort, offering a space of over 2000 sq ft. Bisate Reserve's Villas 1, 2, and 3 are conveniently situated just one level below the main area, while Villa 4, set further apart, is perfect for honeymooners or those seeking heightened privacy. For families traveling together, Villas 1 and 2 can be interconnected via a discreet corridor, ensuring both togetherness and privacy of space. Volcanoes National Park is a sanctuary to nearly half of the world’s remaining endangered Mountain Gorillas and is also home to the golden monkey, side-striped jackal, serval, black-fronted duiker, buffalo, elephant, tree hyrax, bushbuck, and Egyptian mongoose, with genets and squirrels inhabiting its lush undergrowth. While spending an unforgettable hour with the mountain gorillas is the crown jewel of any visit, many other thrilling adventures await within Volcanoes National Park. These include trekking golden monkeys, climbing Mount Bisoke, hiking to the ruins of Dian Fossey’s research center and her final resting place, or exploring the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.

From the moment you arrive in Rwanda our friendly and attentive Guided Safaris® hosts will be on hand to meet and assist you with VIP fast track immigration through the airports, ensuring a seamless and swift helicopter transfer to your destination.

Bisate Reserve
Only 6 Gorilla tracking permits are issued per group per day, meaning that your encounter is as intimate and unobtrusive as possible. With only a total of 96 permits available each day in Rwanda, it is highly recommended to book well in advance. Special Gorilla permits for primate viewing are a conservation initiative for the protection of the gorillas and primate species of Rwanda. With only a handful of permits issued per day, to limit the disturbance and impact to these fragile species, it is highly important to purchase the permits well in advance, and given the nature of this conservation fee the permits are strictly non-refundable and must be utilized on your confirmed dates or be forfeit.
