Home of the Southern Right whale, Hermanus is one of the world’s greatest whale watching destinations. The land based whale watching in Hermanus is unmatched, from late September to October when the Southern Right Whales arrive in large numbers to breed, birth and frolic in the southern Atlantic. Activities offered at Birkenhead House include Dolphin cruises, Deep-sea Fishing, Horseback excursions, Hiking & Golf. Shark diving can be arranged directly at the hotel. Birkenhead House offers:
