28 luxury suites at The Silo are each individually designed. The modern architecture features an ingenious design with special pillowed window bays framing wraparound views of Cape Town. Two Royal Suites at The Silo overlook the Atlantic ocean, Robben Island and distant mountains, while The Penthouse suite is located on the topmost floor of The Silo with an expansive balcony deck facing Table Mountain.
In the 1920s, the Grain Silo was the tallest building in Africa. Today, The Silo possesses one of Cape Town’s most enviable views - designed by the award-winning Thomas Heatherwick Studio.
THE SILO SUITES
The Silo Hotel features 28 beautifully curated rooms, including a stunning one-bedroom penthouse. Each room is uniquely designed by the creative touch of Liz Biden, blending vibrant and eclectic decor with the modern, industrial architecture of the building. The six room categories vary by size and view, but every room includes a private balcony and showcases a remarkable collection of contemporary African art.
SILO ROOM
There are eight Silo Rooms, each covering 441ft², which include a balcony offering stunning views of the harbor. Though slightly more compact, the bathrooms are spacious and luxurious, comparable to those in other room categories. With double-height spaces, the floor-to-ceiling pillowed glass windows provide uninterrupted views of Cape Town Harbor. Each adorned with a unique color palette and contemporary African art.

Located on the 6th and 7th floors, the Duplex Suites offer stunning views of either the harbor or Table Mountain. These split-level suites include a cozy balcony and feel like your own luxury apartment in Cape Town.
