La Réserve Seychelles

Deep verandas, a private pool and a tropical garden of flowers and fruit trees open the house to the outdoors, and a sandy path leads down to the beach. At its heart lies the Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where the coco de mer palm grows wild and the Black Parrot, the national bird of the Seychelles, calls through the canopy. Your guide leads the way through the valley and along trails such as the Glacis Noir, and Anse Lazio, often ranked among the world’s most beautiful beaches, is a short drive from the villas.

Island hopping opens up the rest of the archipelago. La Digue is 15 minutes away by boat, Curieuse is home to Aldabra Giant Tortoises, and Cousin Island is a protected sanctuary for Seabirds. Set out by private boat with your guide, fish along the way and step ashore on a secluded beach, where your chef has a picnic lunch waiting.
