Akagera National Park's ecosystem encompasses ten distinct vegetation biomes, creating a haven for an extraordinary range of wildlife. The park proudly hosts all of Africa's Big Five - lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo. Visitors regularly encounter fascinating species such as Masai giraffe, topi, roan antelope, and the elusive sitatunga. The park's rich birdlife includes 520 recorded species, with the rare shoebill being a particular highlight for enthusiasts. Lake Rwanyakazinga provides a permanent home to numerous hippos and crocodiles, often visible from the camp's vantage points. The park's successful conservation programs, including various species reintroductions, have contributed to this thriving ecosystem.

The crown jewel of the property is a luxurious 4-bed villa, complete with two en-suite rooms and a versatile third room that can serve as a gym, children's room, or office space. Each living space includes a private plunge pool and innovative Star Beds for unforgettable stargazing experiences. The main area serves as the heart of the camp, housing an inviting swimming pool, well-equipped gym, and serene wellness facilities. The camp operates entirely on solar power, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability. A specially designed boat jetty provides seamless access to water activities, connecting guests to the lake's abundant offerings.
